Raymond has some members try out his home built sim- perfect for practicing emergency maneuvers like spin recovery.

While they can’t teach someone how to fly, Raymond highlights the skills you can train using a sim.

The 99s attended a STEM-focused Maker’s Day event on March 22nd, with Kelly Hilberth bringing a ballooning demonstration!

Chapter member Bev Weintraub attended last year’s international conference in Jordan. She presented the exciting photos, stories, and meetings that she experienced with hundreds of other 99s!

Member Mira Wilson presented on the history, uses, and incredible new technology of remotely piloted aircraft.

While many of us might picture the poular rotorcraft when thinking of a drone, Mira brought in a collection that highlighted the diverse methods of flight these aircraft can use.
